The Castine Connection is a new way to stay connected, informed, and inspired by everything that is happening right here in our community.

There’s something special about a town like ours. It is in the friendly greetings on your early morning walk, the conversations while having lunch on the dock, the people you run into and chat with at the post office - the shared sense that what happens here matters. This newsletter is meant to capture that spirit - bringing together stories, updates, and moments that make our town feel like home.

Since we have lost our local newspaper it has been a challenge to know what is going on around town and to have a central shared calendar for all of the activities, programs, events and announcements. In future issues, we’ll be featuring local personalities, sharing stories from the town’s past, and spotlighting the individuals who make a difference in ways big and small.
